Paradise has many faces. It all depends on the way you look at it. It can be a Sunday stroll, an improvised holiday or a day trip with friends. Whether in Girona, the Pyrenees or Cap de Creus, each of these destinations has landscapes that deserve to be photographed, recorded... and experienced.
But what happens when you decide to put them all together and turn them into a 560-kilometre test? Then paradise becomes a challenge. An unprecedented challenge where body and mind compete to see which of the two is stronger.
The Traka Adventure was Marta's master plan. She knew the route, had trained and visualised it. Her goal: to complete the 560 km and 10,000 metres of accumulated altitude in less than 48 hours. Equipped with the best equipment and impeccable determination, she crossed the finish line with two hours to spare. Because when the body hurts and the mind falters, that's when the wildest forces emerge. The ones you didn't know you had. The ones that lead you, finally, to conquer your paradise.
And you keep going, you think of nothing else, and without realising it, the hours go by. As soon as it starts to get light, your mind resets. The only thing that crosses your mind is finding the next village. And the illusion of imagining the hot coffee makes you pedal harder’.
Marta
For the Traka 560 Marta wore the Ixa Bidai in black, the Alda jersey in anthracite grey, both the long sleeve and the 110LW, the Lear vest in petrol and the Busti waistcoat. Both for sleeping and for colder temperatures he used the Ibai leg warmers and the Dena jacket in black. As for gloves, he combined long Uki and Esku gloves.

How many times have you ridden the winding road that connects Tossa de Mar and Sant Feliu de Guíxols? Did you know that this route is made up of exactly 365 curves?
Once again, a great turnout of participants for the road, MTB, and e-Bike weekend organized by Rioja Bikes. Etxeondo didn't want to miss the event.
